Our Story
In 1962, Color Your World - Sault Ste. Marie marked its grand opening, when founder Kurt Frankfurter, an Austrian immigrant, opened the Plaza Home Decorating Centre, a local family owned paint and home decor and supplies business located in the Churchill Plaza.
Commitment To Customers
Kurt's commitment to his customers by providing excellent customer service, quality products and reasonable prices lead to the growth and expansion of the business. In 1972, he moved the business to Great Northern Road and became part of the Color Your World franchise.
Continued Commitment And Growth
As the business continued to grow further expansion was necessary with the first addition to the store completed in 1977 and a second in 1998 to include the Flooring Centre.
Family Tradition Carried On
Today, Color Your World continues to be a local family owned and operated business, by the next generation of the Frankfurter family, who still believe that providing exceptional customer service and great value are just as important as offering top-quality products, just as it was in 1962.
